My name is Anne-Stuart. I live and breathe Richmond. Growing up here I always wanted to get out to "experience" the world. What I didn't realize is there was so much to explore right here. I left for a year and realized I needed Richmond.
Richmond is more than a home for me. It perfectly suits my life. Just big enough that I can always experience something new, small enough that I can run into 5 people I know walking my dog around the city. There's just something about RVA.
I will say, I don't think it used to be nearly as cool. Richmond (RVA as it has become known) has really come into its own the past few years. With about a thousand craft breweries popping up every day (it's more like 12 total, but damn it feels like a new one opens every week), to the emerging music and arts scene. Richmond has something for everyone.
As for me, I've found my niche in the Fan. I live, work and play within about a 5 mile radius and wouldn't have it any other way! (Don't get me wrong, I'll venture just about anyway, as long as I make my way home to my pup eventually, but my comfort level is certainly housed between Main and Robinson.)
This blog will include everything from my favorite happy hours to what DIY project I happened to think I can accomplish from Pinterest. This is truly my RAMBLINGS. If you hate dogs, pizza or pink DO NOT READ THIS.
