I get it guys, you see the word brown and you. are. not. wowed. But I PROMISE these doors are wonderful in all their brownness. (Does that word need to n's? I debated for a good 20 seconds and then figured I probably made it up so I can choose however I want to spell it.)

If you read the green edition, you know why I'm obsessed. But quick recap, I love the Fan, take my pup for walks there, give myself "real estate" tours and started to notice all the amazing doors on these historic homes. OK cool you are up to speed. Now let's look at some door porn.

This beauty. So simple. So elegant. I want to know what lies within. I love the brick patio, which is a perfect contrast to the lush dark brown door. Leaves were extra for the photo shoot.

There are several homes in the Fan with these archways. I have fallen in love! (Pay no attention to the door next door that may or may not make an appearance at some point.) Don't you want to sit down and watch the world go by in that rocker?

This is my love to hate door. It's certainly eye catching. But I hesitated on several walks if I actually LIKED the door. Honestly I still don't know. But it certainly makes a statement and is one-of-a-kind in the FAN, which boosts mostly traditional style. These modern doors certainly stick out. You do you 312!

That's it for brown doors (still sounds boring). Despite their lack of color, these doors still make a big impact from the street, and really isn't that what it's all about?
