This week RVA hosts the UCI World Cycling Race, which you already know, becuase you don't live under a rock. In other news Harry Potter is here, RVA is cool and local fashion superstar Ledbuy opens a new shop!

1. Tonight amateurs (but still really, really good cyclists) get to ride the routes of the pros in the Conquer the Cobblestones event hosted by sportsbackers. Pretty awesome if you are an avid cyclist. (Don't worry, I'm sitting this one out to let others have a chance to shine.) It's happening basically all over the city tonight. 2. CBS 6 does a nice write up on just about everything you need to know for this final week of racing. I don't know about you, but I'm interested in those beer tents! Also road closures, because apparently people are doing other things than indulging in local brews all weekend.
3. Local shirt maker (to the stars...Andy Samberg wore one their shirts to the Emmys) Ledbury, as opened a new shop on Patterson. This shop is the former Creery's and I for one am thrilled, because Patterson is unfortunately the redheaded stepchild of the avenues (Grove and Libbie winning hands down right now). I think Ledbury's presence will help to change this and make Patterson cool y'all! Thanks to BizSense for the article.
4. RVA is cool according to Conde Nast Traveler. Quirk, Saison, Rappahanock, Ardent and many others are the reason. Great article by a world renowned publication. Go Richmond!
5. Harry Potter is in town. He signed this girl's leg. She got a tattoo. It's awesome. Thanks to CBS6 for the story!
