This week we get some really, really good food news, Richmond gets more recognition and a famous artist comes to town. I kinda wanna stick out my tongue and say nah nah nah boo boo because RVA is literally the best. I won't do this. I'll just let y'all read all about the fabulous Richmond.

One of the reasons Richmond rocks
1. Stony Point is going to get a $50 million upgrade. Like WHAT? That's a lot of more millions than I can imagine. But the best news is...it's going to stay dog friendly. As a proud pooch owner (Phoebe currently nudging a toy in my lap as I type) this is excellent news. Richmond.com has the scoop.
2. Your lazy Saturday morning dreams have come true...breakfast sandwich delivery is now a thing in RVA - StaxRVA. Thanks to the creators of your favorite late night cookie delivery service - Red Eye - we now have breakfast with the touch of a button (or call, I'm not so sure yet). But seriously this is beyond. Richmond.com helps fill in the gaps.
3. If you have been reading this blog for any period of time, you know one of my favorite places in RVA is the VMFA. And yep, they've done it again - gotten the freakin' THINKER to Richmond. Even if you barely know art, you know this piece. Rodin is in town starting tomorrow (I mean I'm sure it's here and already set up, but you know, you can see it all tomorrow) and hangs out through March. This is at the TOP of my to do list. RVAblog has the deets.
4. In my favorite type of news - FOOD NEWS - RVAnews has it all. There's ice cream delivery, StaxRVA again, a pop-up shop at one of my favorite noodle bars and more. Mouth waters, as reads, needs ice cream delivered now.
5. Richmond has just been pronounced even more awesome - most artistic mid-size town in the United States. From the VMFA to our performing arts halls and our super sick murals. Gogobot deemed RVA freakin' great!
