Everyone now and then I venture out of the city. Especially if it's for amazing brunch! This past weekend I ventured out down River Road to a not so well kept secret - Portico. Portico is a precious restaurant surrounded by gardens, with the kitchen in a small cottage out back. With about 10 total tables inside, it's a quaint space - go when the weather is nice and enjoy the patio and garden views.
I've been here for brunch on several occassions and can honestly say everything is good! The crabcake benedict is a go to (because, of course) and their Bellini's are not to be missed. All the pizza is amazing (and I'm a pizza connoisseur). But this time I stepped out of my usual comfort zone and ordered the seafood crepes. Holy goodness! Shrimp, scallop and crab smothered in a lobster cream sauce. I cleared my plate.

Portico is perfect for family brunch, intimate get together or just a fun girls afternoon.
