What's Up Monday: June 6

Now that we are all well fed from the first round of food festivals of the summer (thanks Greek Festival and Broad Appetit), here a few things to look forward to this week to make your Monday suck a little less…

1. BACON! That’s right y’all, another weekend, another food festival. And this one is a crowd pleaser - any and all things bacon! It’s this Sunday at the Farmer’s Market.

2. So much yoga, so little time - there’s one at the Hof tonight, another in the Carillon tomorrow and yet another at the Branch Museum on Sunday. Time to get your tree pose on!

3. Music in the Garden at the Valentine - this is a free music series happening during the month of June! This week has Kenneka Cook from right here in Richmond.

4. Kehinde Wiley’s exhibit opens this Saturday at the VMFA!

5. Sun! It’s literally supposed to be nice and sunny all week long. Hot, sure, but cool off at your favorite local pool or river access.

Hopefully between looking forward to bacon, getting your yoga on and groovin to some tunes, this week is looking up!
