RVA Spots: Pizza Joints

It’s a tale as old as time, girl opens fridge, doesn’t see anything she is interested in and the call for cheesy goodness beacons, she needs some pizza. But from where? What is the best in RVA? Who makes the best pie? Whose cheese is hot and melty and perfect? I don’t think I have the answer, but I do have a few favs:
8 ½ pizza - they don’t deliver but man it’s worth it to get up off the couch to go get this yummy pizza. I love their margherita pizza! Their sauce is the perfect tomato consistency and their crust is a delicious thin crust.
Stuzzi’s - not only do they offer in store specials throughout the week, but their pizza is also fantastic. It is Neapolitan wood fired pizza. You can watch the whole pizza process at the pizza bar that is open to the restaurant. Served with scissors so you can choose your own pizza slice size (no judging here).
Belmont - nothing unique about Belmont other than they just make some damn good pizza. I like to try their speciality pizza’s like the Greek. This is probably the best delivery pizza in Richmond.
Superstars - I’ve been going to Superstars for a couple decades now and it's as good as ever. They offer by the slice or you can take home to cook yourself. By far my favorite pizza is The Virginian, it is one of their great “white” pizzas made with bbq chicken, red onions and cheese (duh).
Chanello's - this is not fancy pizza, but honestly, it’s the stuff of late night dreams. I also love their cheesy bread and make sure you ask for extra Chanello’s sauce.
Any great places I am missing? What pizza do I need in my life? I love pizza all the time so let me know!

A yummy pie from Stuzzi's
