Hey RVA, It’s December

10 days into December to be exact. I’m not sure how this happened at all. Despite being late to the game, there is still plenty to look forward to this month (did someone say presents...just kidding, I’m really looking forward to eggnog).

9 - Yes this was yesterday, but I have to recognize my dear friend who just finished her master’s degree and we go to celebrate at Ardent. Way to go Sarah!

11 - The Nutcracker. It’s a longstanding tradition that my sister, my mom and I do. I’ve been going since I was a kid and it certainly sets the Christmas mood.

13 - Titan Happy Hour. Oh high school. What is the season if not for reminiscing.

14 - Addison Clark holiday party. This year it’s at Hondos. Steak never hurt anyone! Also our bosses come up with some funny games for us to play. Plus wine.

16 - Creative Mornings. The last one of the year. It’s always a good time and very inspiring.

16 - Double dipping. The Ad Club’s annual Holiday Happy Hour! This year it’s at Wong Gonzalez. The event is always a good time with tons of people from the creative community turning out.

22 - Ornament exchange with my girlfriends. I love my lady squad and we always have a great time when wine and cheese are involved.

24 - Christmas Eve. More importantly my aunt’s annual open house. She packs the house with everyone she’s ever met and it’s a wonderful time. And she makes Bourbon slush. Ask me for the recipe, it’s just as good as it sounds.

25 - Christmas. I love my family and can’t wait to shower them with gifts!

31 - New Year’s Eve. I don’t have high expectations, but it always strikes a nostalgic chord for the past year. (Do I smell a future blog post?)
