Random Ramblings : February Goals

So, I wasn’t great about “New Year’s Resolutions.” I didn't really make any. I haven’t started eating better, I haven’t lost weight, I didn’t do dry January, salad is not part of my everyday life. I did, however, make month goals. I feel like that is more realistic for me (and probably a lot of people). I took January to just look at my life and understand. Understand that my life is amazing, I have great friend, family, social life, my dog is the bomb (if you follow me on Instagram you get it).
Despite all this, I understand that I can always do better. So, I have some overall goals, but I also decided each month I would focus on one thing in particular. This is kind of like The Happiness Project. I read it years ago, but I recognize that what I am doing is similar. If you have not read it, I highly recommend. The author, Gretchen Rubin, walks you through simple ways to make your life “happier.”
For February I want to focus on organization. I am going to follow the January Cure (I get I’m a month behind). I am very list oriented and this gives you different things to focus on daily, which I like.
Specific things I want to focus on are:
Clearing out clothes I don't wear
Getting rid of stuff I don’t use
Recognizing ways to keep my home clean
Identifying opportunities in my home
While it is my February focus, I plan on having my goals build on each other. I am going to use this month to lay the groundwork for organization and cleanliness. I will let you know how it goes!
