It was a beautiful, hot week in RVA. My Hardywood bocce league started back up, we ate fried green beans and I got some books at the Libbie Mill Library for some poolside reading.
Bocce
If you think of bocce only as older Italian men, I suggest you swing by Hardywood on a Wednesday evening. We have all age ranges hanging out, drinking beer and having a ball (couldn’t help myself).

Pheebs loves bocce, and Hardywood beer!
Boulevard, Burger and Brew
Known for their burgers and boozy milkshakes, BBB is located on Boulevard just across from Movieland. While their burgers are great, the best thing on the menu is the Thai fried green beans. Go get them if you know what’s good for you and your belly.

The most delicious!
Libbie Mill Library
A newly built library off Staples Mill, this beauty is three stories and has all sorts of great spaces. I went to get a book to read by the pool this weekend and ended up with four. The library is well laid out and you could spend hours there. They also have a lovely lake just out their back door. If you are a library nut, go check this one out.
