Fitness Update: July

My July goal was to get back on track with exercising. My unrealistic goal is to get to the gym 6 days a week. I think something a bit more realistic is 3 days per week, which in most weeks in July I was able to pull off.

July 1 - Honestly it’s July 4th week. See ya next week.

July 5 - I took the dogs on a nice 30 minute walk. I’m gonna count that so it doesn’t look like I was such a lazy sack.

July 10 - Took Phoebe on a 20 minute walk in the morning. Went to Crunch after Ad Club and did the stationary bike for 30 minutes. Listened to a great Podcast!

July 11 - Got up early to hit the gym. Did the bike for 30 minutes then came home and walked Pheebs for 20 minutes. NBD that’s two days in a row y’all!

Yes, I read and listen to podcasts to get me through my time at the gym.

July 12 - BBG with Lauren in the AM. I also played an intense game of bocce with my coworkers. I feel like that counts too!

July 19 - Tried the November Project today. It meets every Wednesday at the VMFA at 6am. There are like 300 people who come. It was really fun, although I was more of a walker than a runner when it came to that portion of the exercise.

June 20 - I have never been more sore. I basically waddled around work all day.

July 21 - Still so sore. I decided to do a quick yoga sequence this AM.

July 22 - Biked to Scott’s Addition and back (sure it was to go to lunch and breweries, but at least I didn’t uber...fun and different exercise!)

July 25 - Quick yoga sequence this AM.

July 26 - I slept through my alarm and missed the November Project...oops. Took Phoebe on a 20 minute walk instead.

July 28 - Second time this week I’ve slept through my alarm.

July 30 - 40 minute walk with Phoebe with a trip to Lamplighter as our reward. She got water. I got a bagel sandwich and coffee.

July 31 - PM trip to the gym to use the bike for 30 minutes.
