Things I want to try: November

It's 75 degrees, but the calendar says November 2nd. I guess that means I need to start being cheery and buy people some presents. Instead I want to focus on myself.

Ghee
I’ve heard the hype on the internet and from bloggers, but I really became when one of my coworkers started talking about it. She is much healthier than me, but we were literally eating burgers while we chatted about, so I trust her.
I cook with a lot of butter and this is just supposed to be a more pure form. I will look for where to purchase and what brands are good.
Budget
I keep a monthly excel spreadsheet where I try my very best to be a good girl. However, October was a true embarrassment. We just had a lunch and learn at work on budgeting and I got some tips I am exciting to try. Some of them include: breaking down your categories (I already do this, but they did it a bit differently) and keeping cash envelopes for certain categories.
Mindfulness
After attending some events during Shape Soiree, I started to understand that mindfulness is not something that only yogis do, it is actually something for everyday people. Mindful eating was something big we talked about. Actually appreciating what I am eating, rather than shoveling it into my mouth while watch TV.
I also grabbed a yoga CD from my lunch. I want to make sure I do the yoga without distractions. Speaking of distractions, the last thing I want to do is airplane mode. 30 minutes a day I want to do electronic free and just enjoy myself. I can cuddle with Phoebe, read, cook, or do anything that does not require electronics.
Tone it Up 21 Day Challenge
This challenge starts on the October 30. I do TIU a lot when I go to the gym, but I would like to challenge myself to do the workout for 21 straight days.
